We offer children and young people in rural areas a perspective to make dreams come true, to dare to think critically, and to exchange knowledge to take concrete steps toward a prosperous future.

Dusego Empowerment Hub (DEH) is a nonprofit organization located in Rwanda. We’re building creativity and endowing young people, from all walks of life, to be part of positive change through capacity-building workshops, cultural exchange initiatives, and sustainable development programs.

As of January 2020, the organization has been promoting its mission in the Ruhango District in southern Rwanda through literacy projects and the launch of an educational center for children and youth.

Dusego is a remote village in Rwanda, in the heart of Africa. It is so small that it is not even shown on maps. To this day, the inhabitants of the area typically live from agriculture. There are few schools in the area, and because of this, young people have no opportunity to break out of poverty.

The Dusego Empowerment Hub is a local initiative that was created to embrace these children and young people. The goal is for them to learn skills that will accompany them for the rest of their lives and help them find a job in the labor market.
